ABOUT US · ISSUE 001

We report technology.
We also report its limits.

FACET is an independent digital magazine for people who use technology but do not want product launches and marketing language to make their decisions for them.

01

Our purpose

Technology news is often divided into products, specifications, and announcements. Readers can finish the news and still not know what changed for them. FACET supplies the missing layer: what problem a development addresses, when its claims hold, what it costs, and how a reader can verify the result.

Our first issue covers practical AI, digital life, hardware decisions, and web literacy. We favor durable methods over unverified rumors and fast summaries.

02

Who we write for

Our readers do not need to be engineers. They may be creators, students, educators, small-team operators, or people trying to manage files, devices, and online accounts with greater confidence. We assume curiosity and limited time. Technical detail appears when it improves a decision, not as decoration.

03

Authorship and accountability

The current site uses Editorial Desk as its byline. This indicates shared responsibility under a published editorial process; it does not invent an individual author. Every article shows publication and modification dates, limits, and external references. Future named contributors will receive a genuine biography and disclose relevant interests.

04

Independence

This version carries no advertising, affiliate links, paid rankings, or sponsorship. If commercial relationships are introduced, they will be clearly labeled on the relevant page and separated from editorial judgment.
