PRIVACY POLICY · ISSUE 001
We describe only the data
we actually handle.
Effective September 3, 2026. This version is a static publication with no accounts, comments, web forms, advertising, or analytics.
Current data handling
Site code does not set cookies or send browsing history to FACET. Your theme preference is stored in your browser through localStorage and is used only to remember light or dark mode on that device. Our code does not upload the value.
If you click the email link and send a message, your email provider and ours process the address, message, and related metadata. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Server logs
A future hosting provider may record standard server logs for security, delivery, and troubleshooting, including an IP address, request time, page path, and browser identifier. Retention and access depend on the selected provider. This section must be updated with production details before launch.
External references
Articles link to external sources. After you leave FACET, the destination applies its own privacy practices. Ordinary reference links do not give FACET access to your account at the destination.
Future advertising and consent
No Google Ads, AdSense, Analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking scripts are installed, and no ads.txt is published. Before enabling Google advertising, we will update this policy to explain third-party cookies, personalization, data uses, and opt-out choices. Before serving personalized advertising in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will deploy an eligible consent management platform.
See Google ad personalization settings and how Google uses data on partner sites.
Your choices and contact
You can delete the theme preference through your browser’s site-data controls. Send privacy questions through the Contact page. Material changes will receive a revised effective date and an appropriate notice.
