PRIVACY POLICY · ISSUE 001

We describe the data
this site actually handles.

Effective date: September 11, 2026. Last updated: October 20, 2026. This policy explains how SIGNAL FRAME handles personal information when you visit this website or contact the Editorial Desk.

01

Who is responsible

The publication’s operator is responsible for this site’s editorial pages. For privacy questions or requests, contact the Editorial Desk at [email protected]. This policy applies to this website and its related editorial pages; it does not apply to third-party sites linked from an article.

02

Information we process

You can read the public site without creating an account, leaving a comment, or submitting a web form. The site stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser using localStorage. This preference remains on your device until you clear site data; SIGNAL FRAME’s site code does not transmit that value to the Editorial Desk.

Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, requested URL, referring page, timestamp, browser or device information, and server-log data. If you choose to email us, your email provider and ours process the address, message, attachments, and related metadata needed to receive and respond to your message.

03

How we use and disclose information

We use technical information to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the public site, and we use email correspondence to respond to questions, correction requests, accessibility feedback, rights notices, and privacy requests. We may disclose information to hosting, security, and email providers acting for the service, or where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or respond to a valid legal request.

04

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Other than the local theme preference described above, SIGNAL FRAME’s site code does not use its own cookies for analytics or audience measurement, and it does not load Google Analytics. Where advertising appears on this site, it may be delivered by third-party vendors, including Google.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of Google personalized advertising by visiting Google My Ad Center. For details on how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. If our advertising or analytics setup changes, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice mechanism required by applicable law before enabling the relevant technology.

05

Retention and security

We retain email correspondence and available technical records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, operate and secure the site, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention periods and access controls for infrastructure records may also be governed by the relevant service provider. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to this small public site, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

06

Your choices, rights, and third-party services

You can clear the saved theme preference through your browser’s site-data controls. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Send a request to the editorial address above and identify your region and requested right. We may request proportionate information to verify the request.

Articles may link to third-party sources. When you leave SIGNAL FRAME, those services apply their own privacy notices and controls. A link does not give SIGNAL FRAME access to your account with the destination service.

07

Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, its providers, or applicable requirements. We will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. Questions or requests can be sent to [email protected].
